Diamond wire sawing for heavy industry
SydneyParramattaWestern Sydney wire sawing
Diamond wire sawing for the sections a wall saw cannot loop. Bridge piers, transfer beams, deep retaining walls, heavy columns. Sydney and greater New South Wales.
Wire sawing in Sydney for structures too big for a standard rig
A wall saw is limited by blade diameter. A wire saw is limited by how much wire the machine can store, because the wire has to loop the whole section plus the run back to the rig. That single fact decides what can be quoted. Our flagship rig is a Hilti 30 kW twin motor electric wire saw, run off a minimum 80 kVA generator and rated for heavily reinforced concrete, masonry, stone and steel, wet or dry and partly submerged.
DeconCut is the specialist cutting arm of Perfect Group. Perfect Group crews have been wire sawing across Sydney for over a decade, from rail corridors to CBD towers to water infrastructure. DeconCut takes that experience and applies it to the biggest, hardest cuts, with the engineering done first.
What we wire saw around Sydney
- Bridge piers, headstocks and pier caps on road and rail corridors
- Transfer beams and deep capping beams in station and basement works
- Retaining walls and shoring, sectioned into panels an excavator can lift
- Heavy columns and column capitals, including flush cuts to the soffit
- Thick slabs and podium decks, 600 mm and up, for penetrations and staged demolition
- Live plant and water infrastructure where vibration and dust are not acceptable

Sydney work we can show you
Hornsby. A 21 metre retaining wall, 800 mm thick and 3 metres high, sectioned into seven panels for lift-out by a 32 tonne excavator, with PFC 200 piles every 2.5 metres cut through as part of the run.
Crown Sydney, Barangaroo. Wire sawing of large structural columns alongside wall sawing and stitch coring, working to the client's engineers on site.
Mascot. Wire sawing for John Holland on the More Trains, More Services program, part of a delivery relationship with John Holland that goes back over a decade.
Pyrmont. An 800 mm slab wire sawn for penetrations and staged demolition.
Prospect. Wire sawing a live channel wall at the pre-treatment plant. Manly. Column capitals and a beam removed flush to the soffit at 42 North Steyne.
How we deliver it in Sydney
We start with the structure, not the saw. Send us the drawings, or tell us what you have. We assess the section, the reinforcement, the access, the load path and what happens to the piece once it is cut. Then we give you a cut sequence, the temporary works it needs and a price for the whole method, not a rate per square metre.
Crews work out of Granville and cover Sydney, the Central Coast, the Blue Mountains and down to the Illawarra. We do not quote a production rate until we have cut your material. Nobody publishes one for a 30 kW wire saw in reinforced concrete and we will not guess.
If it is a slab saw job, a few penetrations or general concrete cutting, that is Perfect Concrete Care and we will point you there. We do not do residential. DeconCut is for the big cut.
Wire sawing elsewhere
The same crews and the same rig, wherever the structure is.
