Wire sawing on the Sunshine Coast
The Sunshine Coast is in the middle of a long infrastructure run. The Bruce Highway, the new city centre at Maroochydore, the hospital precinct, water and wastewater upgrades. That work generates the cuts wire sawing exists for: bridge headstocks, transfer beams, thick slabs, pier and abutment modifications, and heavy foundations that have to come out of a live site quietly.
Wire looping the section is what makes it possible. The rig's wire storage sets the size of cut. Our flagship rig is a Hilti 30 kW twin motor electric wire saw, run off a minimum 80 kVA generator and rated for heavily reinforced concrete, masonry, stone and steel, wet or dry and partly submerged. The spread mobilises from our Brisbane base.

Our nearest wire sawing reference is Roma Street Station on Cross River Rail, where Perfect Group sectioned a 12 metre reinforced capping beam into 4 metre blocks for the CBGU Joint Venture, vibration-free, in a live station zone.
Sunshine Coast work is run from Slacks Creek. We have not wire sawed on the Coast yet and we say so. What we bring is the method, the rig and the crews that did the job in Brisbane.
How we deliver it on the Sunshine Coast
We start with the structure, not the saw. Send us the drawings, or tell us what you have. We assess the section, the reinforcement, the access, the load path and what happens to the piece once it is cut. Then we give you a cut sequence, the temporary works it needs and a price for the whole method, not a rate per square metre.
Crews cover Caloundra, Maroochydore, Noosa and the hinterland from Slacks Creek. We do not quote a production rate until we have cut your material. Nobody publishes one for a 30 kW wire saw in reinforced concrete and we will not guess.
If it is a slab saw job, a few penetrations or general concrete cutting, that is Perfect Concrete Care and we will point you there. We do not do residential. DeconCut is for the big cut.
